The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is set to receive 120 new electric UPSRTC buses as part of the Yogi government’s initiative to promote eco-friendly public transportation. This addition will supplement the 100 electric buses already sanctioned, further boosting the state’s green mobility efforts.

Expansion Plan for UPSRTC

  • Regions to Benefit: Aligarh and Moradabad will each receive 30 buses, while 20 buses will be deployed in Lucknow, Ayodhya, and Gorakhpur.
  • Key Routes:
    • In Lucknow, 20 buses will operate between New Barabanki Station and Awadh Bus Station.
    • In Ayodhya, buses will cover routes including Ayodhya-Lucknow, Ayodhya-Gorakhpur, Ayodhya-Prayagraj-Gonda, and Ayodhya-Sultanpur-Varanasi/
