UPSRTC to Arrange Sufficient Buses for Devotees
To accommodate the influx of devotees from various locations such as Basti, Gonda, Bahraich, Ambedkarnagar, Sultanpur, Amethi, Raebareli, and Barabanki, the UPSRTC has planned to run additional buses. The number of buses will be adjusted based on the expected turnout of devotees, with specific attention given to August 19 for the Mani Parvat Mela.
Deployment of Extra Buses
The Ayodhya regional management, under the guidance of UPSRTC Managing Director Masoom Ali Sarwar, has been directed to deploy 120 buses across different depots in the region. This strategic decision aims to meet the rising demand and ensure convenient transportation for the devotees. Additionally, UPSRTC will introduce extra buses from the Basti and Siddharthnagar depots of the Gorakhpur region to further enhance connectivity.
Benefits for Devotees and the Corporation
The increased bus services during the festive season will provide several benefits to both devotees and UPSRTC. Some key advantages include:
- Seamless Travel: Devotees can rely on the enhanced bus services to travel comfortably and conveniently to Ayodhya for religious events in Shravan.
- Increased Income: The influx of passengers during the festive period is expected to boost the revenue of UPSRTC, contributing to its financial stability.
- Efficient Operations: With the deployment of additional buses and proper management, UPSRTC aims to ensure smooth operations and minimize travel-related inconveniences.
