In preparation for the upcoming Maha Kumbh festival, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is set to introduce nine new UPSRTC bus routes. This expansion aims to enhance connectivity between rural areas and Prayagraj, the central hub for the festival.
New Routes to Boost Connectivity
- Enhanced Rural Access: The new routes will improve transportation options for residents of rural areas who visit Prayagraj for various reasons, including education, employment, and healthcare.
- Survey-Based Expansion: The decision follows a survey identifying high-demand routes. This expansion complements the existing eight routes currently operational in the district.

- Prayagraj-Manjhanpur, Maduki, Deora, Dhata
- Prayagraj-Manjhanpur-Bharwari-Karari-Pashchim Sharira
- Prayagraj-Pipri via Handia
