TSRTC Special Bus Operation

  • TSRTC has planned an extensive special bus operation with 5265 buses.
  • The services will be available from October 13 to 25.
  • Advance reservation facilities are offered for 536 services.

Dasara Festival Dates and Heavy Traffic Anticipated

  • The decision to run these special buses takes into account the expected heavy traffic during the festival season.
  • Key festival dates include Saddula Bathukamma on October 22, Maharnavami on October 23, and Dasara on October 24.

TSRTC Special Bus Connectivity Across States

  • Special buses will run from Hyderabad and Secunderabad to various destinations across Telangana.

Departure Points

  • These buses will operate from major bus stands in the city, including MGBS, JBS, CBS, KPHB Colony, Uppal Crossroads, Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar, and Aramghar.

Strategic Planning for Passenger Rush

  • In anticipation of the passenger rush during the festive period, TSRTC has devised a strategic plan.
  • From October 21 to 23, regular and special services will be available from different areas instead of just MGBS.
  • Specific bus stations are designated for routes to various destinations.

Increased Bus Services

  • This year, TSRTC plans to run about 1000 more buses compared to the previous year.
  • Last year saw 4280 special services, out of which 239 were pre-booked.

The TSRTC’s move to operate 5265 special buses for Bathukamma and Dasara festivals is aimed at providing convenient and hassle-free travel for passengers during this festive season.
