The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has announced a reduction in ticket prices for its T-24 ticket to Rs 80 per women passenger from the existing rate of Rs 90. The revised rate will come into effect from Tuesday (May 09th), and the ticket will be available in all the ordinary and metro express bus services
TSRTC Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan and MD VC Sajjanar said that the reduction in ticket prices is aimed at attracting more women passengers to the corporation’s bus services. The T-24 ticket was initially priced at Rs 100, which was later reduced to Rs 90 for women passengers. The corporation hopes to see a rise in the demand for the T-24 ticket with the latest price slash.
The T-6 tickets are also available for women and senior citizens at a rate of Rs 50 per ticket. They can travel in TSRTC city buses between 10 am to 4 pm of the day after purchasing the ticket. TSRTC is committed to providing affordable and accessible public transportation services to all passengers. The corporation aims to encourage more women and senior citizens to use its services, thereby increasing ridership and revenue.
