Under this scheme, the ticket fare from Miyapur to Vijayawada, originally priced at Rs 830, will now be available at Rs 750. Similarly, the fare from MGBS to Vijayawada, previously priced at Rs 780, will now cost Rs 710. These discounted fares aim to encourage more passengers to opt for the e-Garuda services and benefit from the comfortable and eco-friendly travel experience they offer.
VC Sajjanar, the Managing Director of TSRTC, urged citizens to take advantage of the discounted offer and support the public transport system. Emphasizing the organization’s commitment to providing reliable and efficient services, he highlighted the recent launch of a special batch of 50 AC electric buses on the Vijayawada-Hyderabad route. These buses, with a capacity of 41 seats and a range of 325 kilometers on a single charge, offer a sustainable and convenient travel option for commuters.
In addition to the discounted fares, TSRTC has also introduced a Bus Tracking app, available on the Google Play Store. This app aims to enhance the commuting experience by providing real-time information about bus stops, arrival times, and the current location of the buses. Passengers can use this app to plan their journeys more effectively and stay updated with the latest information.
With these initiatives, TSRTC continues to prioritize passenger convenience, affordability, and environmental sustainability. The discounted fares on the e-Garuda buses and the Bus Tracking app reflect the corporation’s commitment to improving the overall travel experience and encouraging more people to choose public transportation for their daily commutes.
