TSRTC has launched the ‘T9-30’ ticket, offering special concessions for passengers traveling within a 30 km radius from 9 am to 9 pm at just Rs. 50. Here are the details:
New Ticket for Short Distances
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has introduced the ‘T9-30’ ticket, aiming to ease travel for short distances and reduce the financial burden on passengers. The Chairman of TSRTC, MLA Bajireddy Govardhan, along with MD VC Sajjanar, IPS, unveiled the ‘T9-30 Ticket’ poster at Bus Bhavan in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Travel 30 Km for 12 Hours
The T9-30 ticket allows passengers to travel within a 30 km radius from 9 am to 9 pm by paying just Rs. 50. Commencing from July 27, this ticket can be purchased from bus conductors, but note that it will be available for purchase until 6 pm only.
Benefits for Employees and Workers
The ‘T9-30’ ticket is tailored to benefit employees, traders, and construction workers who frequently travel short distances. It’s applicable not only within a 30 km radius of the destination but also to other states within the same range, helping passengers save between Rs. 10 to Rs. 30 per person.
Additional Perks
Passengers with the ‘T9-30’ ticket can opt for express services by purchasing a combi ticket for just Rs. 20 for the return journey. Initially valid for one month, the extension of this ticket will depend on the response and demand from passengers.
