From November 9 to 11, TNSTC will run a fleet of 290 special buses to cater to the increased demand for travel during Diwali. These buses will connect Coimbatore to various cities and districts within Tamil Nadu. Here’s a breakdown of the special services:
- Madurai: 100 special buses
- Trichy: 80 special buses
- Theni: 50 special buses
- Salem: 60 special buses

The departure points for these special buses have been strategically selected to ensure easy access for passengers. Here’s where the buses will depart from:
- Buses to Madurai, Theni, and other southern districts will operate from the Singanallur bus stand.
- Buses heading to Karur and Trichy will depart from the Sulur bus stand.
- Travelers to Salem, Tirupur, Erode, Anaikatti, Mettupalayam, and Sathyamangalam can catch their rides at the Central Bus Stand in Gandhipuram.
- Those planning to visit Ooty and Gudalur will find buses departing from the New Bus Stand on Mettupalayam Road.
