The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) is gearing up to facilitate students and travelers during the upcoming school quarterly exam holidays by operating special TNSTC bus services. With anticipated high passenger demand from Chennai and surrounding areas, the TNSTC will bolster its daily schedule with additional buses.

- Dates and Departures:
- September 27, 2024 (Friday): 395 buses from Chennai Kilambakkam bus terminus to various destinations.
- September 28, 2024 (Saturday): 345 buses will operate on the same routes.

- Special Buses to Bengaluru:
- 70 special buses will run on both days to Bengaluru.
- Further Connections:
- 200 buses will be allocated for various other destinations.
- An additional 20 special buses from Madhavaram will also operate each day.

- Advance Booking:
- Passengers are encouraged to book tickets in advance through the official website or the TNSTC mobile app to avoid congestion.
- Current Bookings:
- As of now, 12,691 passengers have booked for Friday, 5,186 for Saturday, and 7,790 for Sunday, with numbers expected to increase.
