In expectation of the reopening of schools on June 7 after the summer vacation, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation’s Tirunelveli Division has made extensive arrangements to operate 250 special buses. These buses will connect various destinations, including Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Madurai, from the southern districts. This initiative aims to facilitate the smooth and convenient travel of students and other commuters during this period.
The special bus services will be available from Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, Tiruchendur, Kovilpatti, Nagercoil, and Marthandam. Sixty buses each will be allocated for the Chennai and Coimbatore routes, while 30 buses will serve Tirupur, and 100 buses will be dedicated to Madurai. The buses will be operational on Sunday and Monday (June 4 and 5), and additional buses will be deployed if the demand calls for it.
The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation assures that a sufficient number of buses will be readily available to cater to the increased travel requirements. To assist commuters, an adequate number of TNSTC officials will be stationed at the bus stands to provide necessary guidance and support. The special bus services will help alleviate any transportation challenges and enable safe and convenient travel across Tamil Nadu.
Passengers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and make use of the special buses operated by the TNSTC. The corporation remains committed to providing efficient and reliable transport services to meet the needs of the public, contributing to the overall development of the state.
