To handle the increased travel demand, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Department will operate 925 special buses from Friday to Sunday, supplementing the routine government bus services.

- 130 buses from CMBT Koyambedu to destinations such as Nagapattinam, Hosur, Bengaluru, and Erode.
- 30 buses on the Chennai-Tiruvannamalai route.
