Sabarimala Rules and Regulations 2024

The new rules and regulations have been put in place to ensure the restoration and preservation of the sanctity of Sabarimala. Here they are:

  1. Limited number of pilgrims: The total number of pilgrims allowed per day will remain limited to control the crowd and to maintain a smoother “Darshan” for the devotees.
  2. Online booking: The pilgrims will have to register themselves online and book the “darshan” slot to visit the temple.
  3. Accommodation: Due to limited space, not everyone will be provided with accommodation. For this, you’ve to check for availability and book in advance.
  4. Plastic-Free Sabarimala: No plastic material is allowed to carry on your Sabarimala visit.
  5. Eco-friendly practices: The use of soaps and other detergents is banned in Pamba River.
