The new buses will belong to the Blue Line and BS-6 categories, ensuring compliance with modern environmental standards and providing improved services.

Bus Allocation Plans
Although the allocation of these buses to specific depots has not been finalized, Udaipur depot has submitted a proposal for approximately 50 buses. This depot recently received five new contractual buses for long-distance routes.
Current Fleet and Passenger Services
RSRTC currently operates a fleet of 3,708 buses across 52 depots, transporting around 7.31 lakh passengers daily. However, frequent breakdowns in older buses have caused inconveniences. The introduction of new buses will:

Enhanced Logistics Support
RSRTC has also acquired 18 trucks for material transport to various depots.
- Udaipur Depot: Received one truck to serve Udaipur, Rajsamand, and Dungarpur.
- Purpose: Transport goods such as bus tires from Jaipur, addressing limited availability of transport vehicles.
A Modernized Future for RSRTC
This modernization initiative reflects RSRTC’s commitment to providing smoother, more reliable, and eco-friendly travel for passengers across Rajasthan. The new buses are expected to transform the transport system, benefiting passengers and the state’s transport infrastructure alike.
