In a remarkable effort to enhance transportation services, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has recently inaugurated the Hirkani bus service on the bustling Mumbai Mantralaya-Pune route. This proactive initiative aims to offer employees and officers of the Ministry convenience and comfort during their daily commutes, elevating their overall travel experience. The introduction of the Hirkani bus service comes as a response to the declining passenger numbers observed on the previously available buses in the MSRTC fleet due to their deteriorating condition. In a proactive move, the ST Corporation decided to internally manufacture new buses, known as self-made diamonds.
At present, the central workshop located in Dapodi, Pune, is busy producing a total of 200 new buses, with Raigad and Pune divisions having already added a Hirkani bus to their respective fleets. Starting on Monday, two Hirkani buses within the Pune division have commenced operations on the Swargate-Mantralaya route. Departing from Swargate at 5:45 am, these buses conveniently arrive at Mantralaya between 9 am and 9:30 am, ensuring timely transportation for the passengers. Subsequently, the buses are scheduled to reach the Mumbai Central depot by 10 am before returning to Swargate.
With the launch of the Hirkani bus service, commuters traveling between Mumbai Mantralaya, and Pune can now enjoy a more efficient and reliable mode of transportation. The MSRTC remains dedicated to its commitment to improving the overall commuting experience for passengers, ensuring that their journeys are comfortable, safe, and punctual.
The Hirkani bus service not only provides an essential link between these two major cities but also emphasizes MSRTC’s dedication to offering top-notch transportation solutions. Passengers can now experience seamless travel and enjoy the perks of modern amenities and reliable services on this popular route.
