Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) adds 200 extra buses for Chaitra Pournima Utsav pilgrims. Festival at Saptashrungi Gadh, Nashik, from April 16 to 23, sees increased travel demand. Additional electric AC buses to operate between Nashik and Saptashrungi for eco-friendly travel.
MSRTC Extra Bus Services for Chaitra Pournima Utsav
- 200 extra buses to operate from Nashik, Manmad, Malegaon, Satana, and Nandgaon for pilgrims.
- Two additional electric AC buses to run 12 round-trip trips daily between Nashik and Saptashrungi.
Eco-Friendly Travel
- MSRTC’s additional electric AC buses offer eco-friendly travel options for devotees.
- Currently two electric buses to increase trips from six to 12 daily during the Utsav.
Special Arrangements for Pilgrims Saptashrungi Utsav
- Private vehicles are prohibited on the eight-kilometer ghat road from Nanduri to the temple shrine.
- Pilgrims in private buses must alight at Nanduri and continue to the shrine via MSRTC buses for safety and traffic management.
