The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced plans to operate 1,500 additional bus services from Bengaluru to various cities between March 7 and 10. This initiative aims to cater to the increased passenger demand during the Maha Shivaratri festival and the ensuing weekend.
KSRTC Enhanced Connectivity
- Special buses will depart from Bengaluru’s Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic) to destinations such as Dharmastala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and others.
- Additionally, special buses towards Mysuru, Hunsur, Periyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalanagar, and Madikeri will operate from the Mysuru Road Bus Station.
- Premium special buses to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirapalli, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kozhikode, and other destinations in Tamil Nadu and Kerala will run from the Shanthinagar Bus Station.
TSRTC Convenient Travel Options
- The special buses from various cities in Karnataka and outside will return to Bengaluru on March 10 and 11, offering convenient travel options for passengers.
The additional bus services by KSRTC aim to provide enhanced connectivity and comfortable travel experiences for passengers during the festive period.
