The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has introduced a new limited stop superfast bus service aimed at improving travel convenience and avoiding the competitive racing often seen among other superfast buses.
New Limited Stop Superfast Bus Service
- Route and Coverage: These new buses will primarily operate from Thiruvananthapuram to Thrissur and beyond.
- Service Model: The service is modeled after the successful Bypass Rider services, designed to offer faster travel times by limiting the number of stops.
- Depots and Routes: Unlike regular buses, these limited stop superfast buses will not enter all depots along their routes.
Unique Features
- Identification Plates:
- Buses operating on the National Highway will have yellow-colored plates with the number ‘1’ written near the door.
- Buses on Main Central (MC) Roads will feature green-colored plates with the number ‘2’.
- Depot Information: The specific depots that these buses will not stop at are listed on the buses, allowing passengers to plan their journeys accordingly.
Benefits for Passengers
- Reduced Travel Time: By bypassing certain depots, these buses will offer a quicker and more efficient service.
- Enhanced Clarity: The colored plates and depot information provide clear guidance to passengers, ensuring they can easily identify the appropriate bus for their destination.
KSRTC’s new limited stop superfast bus service is set to offer a more streamlined and faster travel option for passengers traveling between major cities in Kerala. By reducing unnecessary stops and providing clear route information, KSRTC aims to enhance overall travel convenience and efficiency.
