The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched a connection bus service for Vande Bharat express train passengers traveling from Tirur railway station to Malappuram. After the train’s arrival, the connecting bus will depart from the railway station at 9 pm and reach Malappuram by 10.10 pm.
Benefits for Travelers
This new connection bus service offers numerous benefits to passengers:
- Convenience for travelers from Malappuram returning from Thiruvananthapuram via the Vande Bharat train.
- Eliminates the need for passengers to rely on private vehicles to reach home.
- Assists travelers arriving on other trains like Alappuzha-Kannur Executive Express and Puducherry-Mangaluru Express.
- Benefits traders and employees traveling from Tirur to Malappuram late at night.
- A boon for KSRTC long-distance travelers to Malappuram who need nighttime bus options from Changuvetty on the national highway.
With this initiative, KSRTC aims to enhance the travel experience for passengers, particularly during nighttime journeys, ensuring a smoother and more convenient transit experience.
