After an 18-day suspension caused by flash floods, the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has resumed Volvo bus services to Delhi, Chandigarh, Haridwar, and Shimla from Kullu. The restored services aim to boost connectivity and cater to commuter’s needs.
Resumption of Volvo Bus Services
- HRTC resumes Volvo bus services to Delhi, Chandigarh, Haridwar, and Shimla from Kullu.

Updated Bus Timings
- Volvo buses from Kullu to Delhi will operate at 4.30 am, 6.30 pm, and 9.30 pm.
- For the Kullu to Chandigarh route, buses will be available at 9 am and 9 pm.
- The Kullu to Haridwar bus will depart at 6 pm, and the Kullu to Shimla Volvo bus will leave at 10.30 pm.
Revenue Boost and Alternate Routes
- The restoration of Volvo bus services is expected to increase the revenue of HRTC’s Kullu depot.
- As the Kullu to Manali national highway is still damaged, passengers will have to opt for the Volvo bus service from Manali.
- HRTC is operating on local routes where road repairs have been completed.
