Official Handover
- Minister of State for Transport Harsh Sanghavi will formally hand over the buses to the division.
- The buses, procured for Rs 37 crore, aim to enhance transportation services in the region.
Expansion Plans
- GSRTC plans to add 2,812 new buses from the 2022-23 and 2023-24 state budgets.
- This includes 2,412 super express buses, 200 Gurjarnagari buses, and 200 sleeper coaches.
Service Expansion
- 600 new buses are scheduled to be introduced this week, with 100 buses already flagged off by Sanghavi.
- The initiative aims to improve connectivity and provide better travel options for passengers in Vadodara.
