After a long wait, the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) has obtained permission from the Jharkhand government to resume bus services from Bhagalpur to Ranchi. Additionally, a new service has also been launched for the Bhagalpur to Deoghar route. This comes as great news for travelers in the region who have been eagerly awaiting these bus services.
Permit Obtained for Ranchi and Deoghar Routes
The BSRTC has successfully obtained the necessary permit from the Jharkhand Transport Department to operate bus services from Bhagalpur to Ranchi and Deoghar. The permit has been counter-signed, allowing the corporation to commence these services just in time for the Shravani Mela, which begins on July 6.
Bus Fare and Details
The fare for the Bhagalpur to Deoghar route has been fixed at Rs 182, while the fare for the Bhagalpur to Ranchi route is set at Rs 550. The buses used for these routes will be non-AC deluxe buses with a seating capacity of 43 passengers.
Bus Timings
- Bhagalpur to Ranchi: The bus will depart from Bhagalpur at 7:45 am and travel via Dhakamod, Hansdiha, Deoghar, and Hazaribagh to reach Ranchi. The return journey from Ranchi to Bhagalpur will start at 5:45 am, arriving in Bhagalpur at 6:30 pm.
- Bhagalpur to Deoghar: The bus will leave Bhagalpur at 7:15 am and follow the route through Jagdishpur, Dhakamod, and Hansdiha to reach Deoghar at 11:13 am. The return journey from Deoghar to Bhagalpur will begin at 2:50 pm, with an estimated arrival time of 6:40 pm in Bhagalpur.
