APSRTC Introduces Multi-City Ticketing System for Hassle-Free Travel Experience
A

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport has launched a new multi-city ticketing system to simplify long distance travel for passengers.

With a multi-city ticket, passengers can travel in two buses with a layover at one bus stop without any extra charges. For example, a passenger traveling from Srikakulam to Anantapur can board another RTC bus with the same ticket during the layover period. This system also allows passengers to halt their journey in the middle and resume it with another RTC bus by using the same ticket. The minimum layover time at the changeover location is 2 hours and the maximum is 22 hours. The APSRTC plans to expand this system to all routes based on public demand, Initially launched on 137 routes,

The multi-city ticketing facility is available in major urban centers, district administrative centers, and small towns such as Bapatla, Tanuku, Paderu, Nuzvid, Machilpatnam, Kuppam, Punganuru, Prodduturu, Pulivendula, and more.
